I was lucky to know Darren Jackson Smith for 15 years.

I was lucky to know Darren Jackson Smith for 15 years. He was an incredibly talented person who's work I always admired. I credit him for teaching me to use a sharpie to create bold hand drawn patters. He was so good at that. His birthday was this weekend, and I've been thinking about Darren a lot. This tin painting is in our new dining room, and I have loads of his work throughout our house and my studio. You guys, I miss him.
